View: Online Learning Update

Dear Prairie View Families,

I wanted to share with parents/ guardians some important information regarding Online Learning starting next Monday, November 16 that extends through Tuesday, November 24th.    Each day of Online Learning will follow a similar schedule for all K-4 classrooms.   The day is divided into a morning session and an afternoon session.  Students will participate in only one of these sessions each day.  If your child was in Cohort A during the Hybrid start to our school year, they will be assigned the morning session.  Cohort B students in the Hybrid are assigned to the afternoon session.   If the times of these sessions absolutely do not work for your family, please contact me directly by email       mikehansen@crprairie.org or phone (848-5260).     Students will use their school device for their daily Online Learning.   Your child’s teacher will be reaching out with key information about your cohort assignment, access to Google Meet and the learning platforms for next week.    Again, I want to personally thank all families for their support during this change in learning environments.     Below I have included a schedule for both AM and PM sessions.

AM Session:  Cohort A 

8:00-8:15…   Live class meeting

8:15-8:45…  Live learning with teacher

8:45-9:05… Student practice/ support with teacher

9:30-10:30… Small group support with Specialist Teachers (Title, ELL, GT, Special Ed.) These teachers will schedule with families.

PM Session: Cohort B.

1:30-2:30… Small group support with Specialist Teachers (Title, ELL, GT, Special Ed.) Teachers will schedule with families.

2:35-2:55… Student practice/ support with teacher

3:00-3:15… Live class meeting

3:15-3:45… Live learning with teacher
